What You’ll Be Able to Do
- Identify and adjust leadership non-verbals that support presence, attention, openness, and congruence in workplace interactions.
- Demonstrate a repeatable method for observing, baselining, clustering, and contextualising non-verbal signals in meetings and one-to-ones.
- Apply comfort–discomfort and cognitive-load observations to adapt meeting facilitation, feedback, and support conversations without overclaiming what a signal means.
- Analyse patterns of participation, dissent, stress, and disengagement across in-person, remote, and hybrid team settings.
- Differentiate culturally shaped communication preferences from meaningful deviations in behaviour, using context and calibration before making decisions.
- Evaluate the quality and limits of non-verbal evidence when deciding how to follow up with an employee or team.
- Design a team-level observation and communication-quality practice that measures behavioural change and training impact honestly.

After this module, you can audit and deliberately adjust your posture, orientation, facial expression, voice, space, and listening behaviour so that your visible conduct supports—not contradicts—your leadership message. You will also be able to distinguish congruence from premature interpretations of intent.
