CPD-certified training you can actually log
Continuing Professional Development — CPD — is how most professional bodies evidence that their members keep learning. BodyLytics holds Open CPD Membership, and every course is built around stated aims, skills and outcomes, assessed on demonstrated skill rather than attendance, and finishes with a certificate carrying a credential number anyone can verify.

What CPD means, in plain terms
Continuing Professional Development is how most UK, Irish and European professional bodies evidence that their members keep learning.
Counted in hours
CPD is measured in hours of structured learning. Most bodies set an annual target members must evidence to keep chartered status or a practising licence.
Points are hours
Bodies use points, units, credits or hours depending on habit. The overwhelming majority treat one point as one hour, so an award of 6 points logs as 6 hours.
You keep the evidence
Your CPD log needs the date, the activity, the hours and the outcome. Your certificate is the proof, and its credential number can be checked by anyone.
CPD by course
An award is a points figure issued by Open CPD, with its own badge. An estimate is our own conservative calculation of structured learning time, rounded down, for courses we have not yet put through an award.

How the tier changes the figure
The figures above are the course itself, which is what Self Study gives you. Cohort adds 4 live 60-minute group sessions, so it carries 4 CPD hours more than the number shown. VIP adds those group sessions plus 3 private 1:1 sessions with the founder, which you log by their actual length. Live sessions are contact time and are logged the same way as any other structured learning.
How to log it
- 1
Finish the course and pass its assessment. Certificates are issued on demonstrated skill, not on attendance, so they cannot be self-generated.
- 2
Record the activity in your CPD log with the date, the course title, the points or hours shown above, and what changed in your practice as a result.
- 3
Attach the certificate. It carries a credential number that anyone — your professional body, HR, an interviewer — can verify at bodylytics.coach/verify without an account.
Every professional body sets its own rules on what it accepts. Check yours before you rely on any course for a mandatory requirement.
What this credential is, and what it is not
We would rather tell you exactly what it means than let the badge imply more than it should.
What it is: BodyLytics holds Open CPD Membership. We have signed the Open CPD Declaration and committed to honest, transparent recognition of professional development. The registration is public and checkable.
What it is: Courses are structured against a defined aims, skills and outcomes framework, and awarded courses carry a points figure issued through Open CPD with its own verifiable badge.
What it is not: A CPD credential is not a licence, a regulated qualification, or a guarantee that a particular professional body will accept it. That decision is always theirs.
