The Session
Before anyone hears your pitch, your proposal or your introduction, they’re already reading you, and you’re reading them. In one classic study, judgements of a face made after a 100-millisecond glimpse closely matched the judgements people made with unlimited time.
The trouble is that most of what people “know” about body language is myth. Crossed arms don’t mean someone’s closed off. Looking away doesn’t mean they’re lying.
In this interactive session for founders, teams, freelancers and anyone who pitches, sells, hires or networks, Sean Johns shows what actually works: reading a baseline, spotting a change, and knowing what to ask next. It’s hands-on from start to finish, and you’ll leave with a practical read for your next pitch, meeting or introduction.
